Society of Air Racing Historians Collection

This paper collection was compiled by members of the Society of Air Racing Historians of Berea, Ohio, and it consists of decades of research concerning primarily the Cleveland National Air Races and Reno National Air Races, as well as other general information relating to air racing. The periods it covers range from the 1920s thru the early 2000s. The materials are mainly comprised of journal, magazine, and newspaper articles, interviews, air racing results, photographs, programs, and etc. related to the air racing sport. There is not a plethora of primary source materials from the actual management of the races. These materials are available for viewing at the Liberty Aviation Museum in the classroom upon presentation of valid identification. You may view what is in the collection from the PDF file below.
